3 Skills = Successful Soccer Receiving

by Jess
(Miami, FL, USA)

In order to become good at soccer receiving you need to learn some of the fundamental things behind it. In this article I will present three things that are highly related to the art of receiving, let’s check them out:

Soccer Receiving is related to three things:

Those include:

A - Control

B - Positioning

C - Vision

A - Ball Control
Having the ability to gain full control of the ball without giving your opponent the chance for a decisive tackle

B – Positioning
Position of your body when receiving so that you don't give the defender a chance of touching the ball and knowing that you are able to dribble or to execute a pass or shot after receiving

C – Vision
Knowing what you will do when you receive the ball by scanning the field and maybe signaling to the other player what you plan to do

3 SKILLS = SUCESSFUL RECEIVING

A - Control

B - Positioning

C - Vision

- Know them, use them.

- Practice makes perfect.

- Remember to have a positive attitude and supportive people to surround you, teammates, friends and family.

POSITIVE ATITUDE is CONTAGIOUS!

NEGATIVE ATITUDE is DESTRUCTIVE!

So have a great attitude and GOOD LUCK!!!!!
