5 Soccer Passing Tips

by Suhel
(Blackburn)

Here are few simple but yet effective tips that you should keep in mind when performing your passes. While passing the ball is a pretty easy skill to master, many players tend to pass the ball with poor accuracy. However, if you stick to these tips I am sure that you will not make these mistakes more and you’ll be able to concentrate on improving your other skills.

1. When passing the ball do not look at the ball look at the players you are passing the ball to.

2. When passing put your weaker foot pointing towards the player you passing the ball to.

3. When crossing the ball make sure to arch your back in order to get enough height on the ball.

4. The most accurate part of your foot is the inside. Therefore, you should try to use this as much as you can and only adapt the other parts when necessary.

5. Try to strike the ball just above the middle in order to keep it on the ground. If you strike it too low it would probably bounce and make it hard for the other player to receive it.

So, that was it, I hope that you have enjoyed these tips and I wish you good luck with your soccer career.
