ATW (Around The World)

by Sam
(N.S.W)

Around the World is possibly the easiest trick to begin with when it comes to soccer freestyle. It is also one of the most widely used tricks in many combos. To do this trick you need to be able to stall the ball on your foot easily and then you need to perform 2 simple moves in order to succeed with it:

1.) First thing you need to do is to flick the ball into the air at a comfortable distance. Around the knees is a preferable height.

2.) Now, swing the same leg over and around the ball before it touches the ground, either stalling the ball again or continue juggling.

Tip:

- You can swing your leg around the ball either clockwise or anti-clockwise once you manage to perform this trick two or three times in a row.

- Keep in mind to have your body relaxed while practicing on the ATW because it will be easier to perform it then.

- Don’t get discouraged if you can’t get it right first time. Instead, keep on following this article and soon or later you will be able to perform the ATW successfully.

Good Luck :)
