Benched, what to do?

Hi I was wondering what you are supposed to do if your trainer froze you out of the team and you have only been able to play let say 5 of 15 games this session.
To get this right I play in Jonkoping Sodra pojkallsvenskan and for about last year I was ordinary in the team and played regularly, just missed 2 games in the whole season.
Then for this year we got a new coach and he introduced a new system for the 1992 squad and the 1993 squad. And although last year I played really good. However, this year I’m frozen out and I have only one game with the first team and that was the last game before the break.
Our team is not doing any good (second last in the league). I play as winger in both side’s right and left although I prefer left (my position similarly to Messi or C.Ronaldo).
I have play lots of b squad’s team and score many goals and I practice every day to get back into to the squad but it fells hard to believe when nothing is achieved. And even though I played the last game the road to success seems far away. Please can you help me I asked many persons but still no one has provided me with the answer how to get into the team.
Instead everybody tells me to practice more! I want to know if I have another option then work hard because I working hard the last 7-8 month and I’m starting to lose faith. Excuse my bad English I’m not so good but trying my best.

ANSWERWell, I can understand your frustration because I know how it feels when you are sitting on the bench. By reading your post I can feel your frustration and I am sure that you are practicing hard and doing everything you can in order to improve your game.
However, my advice is to find a situation when your coach is alone and ask him what he thinks about your game. Simply, look him in the eyes and ask him what you need to improve in order to get more time in the first squad.
I mean, if you don’t ask him then you will never know what you need to work on, right? I know that you may feel nervous about this and it is pretty normal. However, your coach is just a human being and if you want to know the reason for why you are not playing in the first squad you need to simply ask him that. Good Luck
