Big Mistake

I was playing in a soccer game as goalie and I slid for the ball and got my whole inside of my right leg cleated. So i rested for the rest of that game and came back in the next and got my ankle cleated, but it was not as bad as my leg so I rested for about ten minutes and went back in.
That was my biggest mistake because I didn't rest enough so my reaction time was horrible.So i got my knee cleated and was out for the rest of the game. But after a few days my knee started to bother me, so i went to the doctors. They said that i might have a meniscus tear in my right knee. So I had to go see a specialist.
He sent me to get an MRI and the results came back negative. BUt my knee was still bothering me so he sent me to physical therapy. They said that i have a stretched out ligament and that it was a result of me playing in the game after i had gottten my right leg cleated.
So i have been out since March. So if you get hurt during a soccer game rest for a few days and don't make the same mistake that I did by going back to early.
