Buttkicks and High Knees

Have the players line up at the first goalpost. Have them jog (remember that this is not a race, it is for technique) from the line to the middle of the field lifting their feet so high that they are literally kicking their own butt.
At midfield, have them switch to high knees. Also remember that this drill is for technique, not speed. They should be pushing their knees as high as they can possibly go. After this, have them stretch and then, go again. This time, they must make sure that their feet are hitting the ground fast and flat. That is all. Repeat these steps a few times.
