Catch Me If You Can

Number of Players:
2-4
Area:
10x10 Grid (Several)
Purpose:
To improve on dribbling with head up, All types of turns, Endurance,Vision, Feints and Aggressiveness with the ball.
Time: 30"
It will depend on the session's objective if it is either skills, speed with the ball, endurance or working on sudden turns.
Execution:
Player A has a ball at his feet while Player B has no ball. At the Coach's signal, Player A starts chasing Player B trying to tag him. Player B tries to avoid him by running away sometimes feinting, sprinting (with changing speed and direction, e.g.waiting until Player A is near him then suddenly he sprints away!)
You can start this drill with only two in the grid or all four at once but two is better to begin with. As it is very intensive, after the 30" the first two take a rest and the second pair take their turn.
Condition:
When the chaser is lucky to tag the rabbit (which is extremely hard) the ball should be under control and the rabbit should not run outside the grid.
Caution:
All players to be observant of space so that they do not collide with one another.
Variation:
Both players to have a ball each.
