Curving The Soccer Ball While Shooting

by Kush

Hello, I have been practicing a lot to curve the ball while shooting. I know that we kick the ball with outside front (outside curve) or the inside front (inside curve) of the feet (depending how you want to curve it) I even know that we have to spin the ball to curve.

My problem is that if I spin it, I can’t shoot the ball high in the air the ball goes on the ground) and if I shoot the ball high in the air, I can’t give it a spin. So, my question is that how exactly do I curve the ball? Can you please give me some tips about curving?

THE ANSWER

In order to curve the ball while having it fly at decent height, you need to arch your back while striking the ball at the bottom of it. Also, you need to follow through with your leg once striking the ball in order to add as much spin as possible on it.

This is easier said than done, but if you just keep on practicing and use these tips you will soon notice that is much easier then you thought.
