Disadvantages on the soccer field

by dzeno
(Australia)

I have started in a soccer team for U16 A league but I recognized that when we trained I wasn't able to see my players straight away, because I'm short sighted do you think I wouldn't be able to advance my soccer skills and take soccer as my future job. My eye problem isn't really worse but I don't know when it will stop.

THE ANSWER

Hello, no, it will not affect your chances to become a professional but a lot of players are wearing lens and me as well when playing soccer, so you should not worry about that. However, I would recommend you to visit an optician and let him pick an appropriate lens that you can wear while practicing and playing games.
