Food

My story is about the importance of food before a game. Last year I was not clued up on what was good and bad to eat before a game, or that eating was a factor on my performance in the first place.
Before a game I would usually eat whatever I wanted, not usually healthy. 20mins into the game I would get a dreadful pain in my stomach and it limited what I could do on the field. This happened for about 6 games straight.
After attending a football academy, I had a classroom session which outlined eating habits and nutritional info. I got the jist of what I was meant to be eating before a game and how long before a game I was meant to be eating it.
I trialled out eating specific foods at the right time and I now no longer get the dreadful pain in my stomach.
It goes to show how much a little difference makes.
