How I Scored 10 Goals From My Defensive Position

Many players think that playing in a defensive position is equal to scoring few or no goals. However, I can tell you that this is not the truth. Of course, you can’t expect to score the same amount like your forwards and strikers but you should be able to score at least 10 goals per season by following my tips. By following the four simple tips below I managed to score 11 goals from my fullback position.
1. First of all, you need to follow up in your teams attacking. You can’t stand on your own field half and hope that you will score a 60 yards shot. This will not happen (the chances are pretty low :-).
2. Do not complicate things. If you have a chance then shoot, don’t try to complicate things by trying to dribble 3 opponents inside the 18 yard box because you will probably lose the ball.
3. If you don’t believe that you can score goals, then you will not either do it.
4. Try always to be first on the ball. The player that does so will have a big advantage on his opponent.
I hope that these tips will help you score more goals even if you are playing in a defensive position. Good luck.
