Juggling a soccer ball

by Hannah
(Oreogn)

Ok so I used to play soccer a long time ago. Now I’m more interested and even going to tryout this year, but there is one problem I have whenever I’m at a soccer clinic they tell us to juggle on our head, knees, ankles etc.

I’ve tried and I cannot juggle at all maybe a few bounces but that’s it and I can on my knee and head but not on my ankle or lower leg. I’ve tried and tried and tried and I still can’t juggle well is there something wrong.

ANSWER

Well, as with everything else, juggling is something that takes time. I know personally that juggling by using your head is easier then juggling with your ankle. However, there is no magical formula for how to become a master on juggling.

Instead, you need to take your time and start to practice regularly on your juggling skills. Try to practice at least 1 hour per day and use all parts of your body while juggling. I can ensure you that after a week or so you will be amazed of your results.

I know how hard it can be to learn juggling because I used to spend many hours per day on the soccer field trying to keep the ball in the air. However, soon or later you will get over the barrier and juggling with all parts of your body will be a piece of cake.

I can’t really tell you how long time you will need but I know for sure that if you just take your time and practice regularly the results will come.
