Learn To Dribble With Your Weak Foot as Well

by Nick
(Birmingham, U.K)

Many players do not like to use their week foot. Simply, they concentrate only like to use one foot for dribbling, shooting passing etc. You often see these players miss great scoring opportunities because they don’t know how to shoot with their weak foot.

I am currently playing as midfielder and it is pretty obvious that a right footed player will often go to the right while a left footed player will go to the left. However, I’ve meet few players that are able to dribble with both feet and I can tell you that these games were a real nightmare. I mean, it was impossible to figure out which way they would take.

So, my advice to you is; learn to dribble with both feet. You will not only become better at dribbling you will also improve your other skills as well (passing, shooting, receiving). If you want to reach higher goals, you need to learn to use your weak foot as well. One other thing you should know is that your weak foot will never be equal to the stronger one.

However, you can reach very good results with it if you just start to use it. But, you need to be prepared that this may take a lot of time. Remember that you did not learn how to walk and speak in one month either.
