The Easiest Soccer Move Your Can Learn

If I was asked to pick the easiest move ever I would choose the fake shoot. This will probably be the first move you will learn when you are new to soccer. However, you should not underestimate it as it is often used by professional soccer players.

As with every soccer move you need to perform it right in order to benefit from it.

I have seen many players perform the fake shoot move improperly and you don’t want to be one of these. That’s why I have created this article in order to help you out with that.

General Tips about Soccer Moves

  • Try always to perform your move as near your opponent as possible. Don’t start to perform your move 2 yards from your opponent as you will rarely get around him on this way.
  • Believe in yourself. If you don’t believe that you can’t get around your opponent then how do you then expect to do it?
  • Don’t be afraid of failure, it is a part of the soccer game and in order to success you need to fail first. It is not more difficult than that, believe me.
  • Keep your legs slightly bent as it will make it easier to keep the balance.
  • Don’t stare at the ball. Instead, keep your focus on the opponent and analyze his body movements.

How to Perform The Move

1. Place the ball on the ground and keep it still.

2. Approach the ball fast and pretend that you will kick it hard.

3. Now, swing your kicking leg back just like during a shoot.

4. When your opponent raises his arms switch the ball to your non-kicking leg and complete the move.

Tips

  • You should practice the move until you feel natural about it.
  • Don’t limit yourself to one foot. Practice by using both feet.
  • Never underestimate your opponent no matter how poor he is.
  • Perform the move first on your teammates before trying it out in a real soccer game. If it works on your teammates then it will probably work on your opponents too.

Summary

Warning, don’t underestimate this move! If utilized properly you will be able to get around your opponents in every dribbling duel!
