My Soccer Fitness Tips

by Nick
(Ireland, Dublin)

My name is Nick and I am 13 years old but I consider myself to be a pretty skillful and fast soccer player. My advice to everyone that wishes to improve their soccer fitness is that they should try to run every single night for approximately 15 minutes. Your breath will get used to it and you will have easier to run longer during your practice and games.

I also perform push-ups and press-ups in order to strengthen my over body. You can try with 2-3 sets per day and do about 15-20 repetitions. Once your feel stronger, try to increase this number or use a weight to give your muscles more resistance (to make them grow more). Soccer nutrition is also important for your performance if you want to get an advantage on your opponents and perform maximum on the soccer field.

You should also keep in mind to rest enough after your practice and games. Of course, sometimes you just want to go out there and start to practice on your other skills (after a game or practice) but I advise you to rest instead. This will help to recover your muscles and you will feel well-rested the next day.
