Powerful Soccer Shot

by Billy
(Rose)

A lot of soccer players have problems with putting a lot of power on their shots. I have come up with an idea on how to strike the ball in order to add more power to it. Simply, to put a lot of power on your shot you have to strike the ball with the laces of the cleat. This may sound easy but it is pretty difficult to do when you are running at high speed.

Directly after you strike the ball do somewhat of a hop and land on the same foot that you kicked the ball with. For example, if you fire a shot with your right foot then you should obviously land on it once you fire the shot. And if you kick the ball with your left foot then land on the left foot as well.

I have found a video that should help you get an idea of what I am saying. Just copy and paste it into your browser and enjoy. If the user removes the video then make sure to add a comment here so that we can replace it with something similar.
