Saqeb's Soccer Move

by Saqeb
(Pakistan)

This is a cool move that I have invented by myself. The move is pretty simply to perform. To explain it I will illustrate a common situation that you will be exposed to during your games. Let’s start; Consider that you have a pretty good sprint and a defender is running side by side with you.

Obviously the ball will also be rolling at high speed. However, you should not touch the ball, instead, let it roll straight. Now, what you need to do is to tricks your defender by putting one of your legs in front of the ball and the other one at the back.

If you’ve done things right the ball should now stay still in mid of your legs. Wait 1-2 seconds and then accelerate again by getting back in position. This is a move that I often use during my games and in most cases it works perfectly.

But, I would like to recommend you to vary your moves because if you are performing the same moves over and over again, your defenders will learn your way of dribbling and figure out how to stop you from getting around them again.
