Soccer Heading Tips For Better Success

Make sure that you never close your eyes when you go up for a header! Also, don't wait for the ball to come to you but instead attack it! Make sure to communicate with your teammates well so that you are not going for the same balls as they do.
When heading the ball, always keep in mind to arch your back and when the balls gets near you explode in an attacking motion in order to add more power on the ball.

Closing your eyes might make you think that you feel safer, while in fact, closing your eyes could cause your serious injures if the ball is passed to you with power. Remember to never head the ball with the top of your head as it really hurts!

These are the tips I use during my games and practice to perform accurate and power headers. If you follow them I am sure that you will be able to do the same as I do. P.S don’t forget to practice hard as much as possible and never give up no matter what people say to you.

Wish you all the best, John from U.K
