Soccer Team Problem

Hi Mirsad!
I have a pretty big problem, and the situation is that I am new to my school, and I really want to join the soccer team. For that the coach must see how well you perform. Now in my old school I used to be a star at the sport, and my dribbling was very good.

It still is, but the problem happens to be that nobody passes to me! It's been quite a few months, and nobody passes the ball to me. Once the defenders get the ball they will pass to only their friends. I play at an attacking position.

I tell those guys about it, but they will not listen, and the coach does not seem bothered. Presently I am In India. I hope you can give me some successful advice on the matter, as I myself have tried to come up with a solution, but have failed.

THE ANSWER

Hello, I am sorry to hear that your own teammates don’t want to pass the ball to you. However, there must be some reason for that and that’s why I believe the best solution would be to tell how you feel in front of everybody. Simply, when the coach is going through the tactical part or speaking of everybody, you should rise up your hand and say that you want to ask everybody about something.

Then, simply, ask the whole group why they don’t want to pass the ball to you. One good thing is to prepare in front of a mirror and prepare few strong arguments. Also, describe that you feel down for this and make them realize that this is very serious. I hope that you will get rid of this dilemma and enjoy your time on the soccer field.
