Succeed in Soccer

by Tom
(California)

Say if you don’t have experience at the soccer field? What do you suggest then? I mean, if I have the heart to play and I love watching the beautiful game can I still succeed?

THE ANSWER

Hello Arvin

One thing I want you to keep in mind is that you should never let someone tell you what to do. If a coach, player or someone else tells you that you will never become a good soccer player you should just let the words pass through your ears and keep on practicing.

With hard and focused work anyone can succeed, trust me, I know. However, I am not really sure what you want to achieve? Do you just want to learn how to play soccer or do you have some other higher dreams (like becoming a professional).

There are many variables that I need to get answer on in order to provide you with a honest answer. Some of these are:

• How long have you been playing soccer?
• How old are you?
• How often do you practice?
• What are your main goals with soccer?
• Are you prepared to work hard every day without losing focus?
