Switching Soccer Club?

by Alex
(Seville, Spain)

Hi, I have not been playing competitive football for a long time now and I have been on trial with a club in the Seville league called San Roque Balompie.

My trial was supposed to last for 2 weeks, but yesterday the coach told me to find another club after only playing half a match and trained for 4 days.

I really have been working hard on my fitness and giving my all. This guy has been playing me up front, but I am a central midfielder really. What can I do next ?

Alex

THE ANSWER

Hello Alex, if I was you, I would find another club and then try again. I mean, there are many great players that were not accepted in one club, and once they changed to another one and found their place in the team, they suddenly become true starts and succeeded very well.

So, just because a coach tells you to find another club don’t have to mean that you should quit. Also, are you sure that your skills suit the central midfielder position? If you want, you can check out my book, The Ultimate Guide To Soccer Positions where you will be able to learn what soccer position suits your skills best. Just promise me that you will not give up, instead, find another club directly and start to give your best.

Regards, Mirsad
