The Baffler Move

by Stephanie
(Las Vegas, NEVADA)

I kind of came up with the name on this one on my own. One day at practice I performed it without even knowing what I was doing (he he). However, it worked. The reason why I call it the Baffler is because I confused the opponent.

First, when you have an opponent coming at you from the front, you have to confuse that opponent by doing the typical acting as if you were to go to the left". But instead of doing that you will actually use your RIGHT foot.

Bring it in front of the ball and use your left foot to pass the ball to your right (kind of as if you were to do a back pass). This will guard the ball from your opponent. It’s very simple, I mean, I got it without even knowing what I had done at first :-) Give it a shot and once you master it try it in a game.

Have Fun :-)
