No Way

If you are inside the penalty area with pressure from left/right, you would only use this method as a LAST STRAW, otherwise using the laces has a better chance of getting into the net. A toe kick is dependent on the distance from the goal, I wouldn't take a kick with a toe unless I was close to the goal.

Absolutely

Not only is it good in those situations when your under pressure but also it can be a fast pass to someone. it works just fine and even though most people start out kicking like that, then after you master the laces shot you can learn how direct that toe shot but still having a lot of force.

Toe Punt is Great

I agree 100%. Brazilians are especially famous for this type of kick. Something they call the "Folha Seca" - Falling Leaf.

Cheers.

Toe Kick
by: Anonymous

My coach always gets mad at me because i kick with my toe, but i always make it in the goal. And my toe never hurts like people tell me it would if i keep kicking like that. so i just think that its not that bad to kick with your toe.
