Tips For Long Kick

by Kevin
(Canada)

I know how hard it can be to kick the ball far away because I have spent many hours on the field practicing on this skill. However, it took me a lot of time to figure out the secrets behind an accurate and long kick.

So, I thought that maybe I could share some own tips on what you can do to speed up your learning process. P.S I’ve learned several of this by following the kick and shooting guide

• You need to arch your back. This is very important to get enough height on the ball.

• Swing your kicking leg back. Many players do this wrong and that’s why they never get enough power on the ball.

• Point your supporting foot in the kicking direction. This will increase the accuracy of your kick.

I am sure that if you follow these tips you will soon be able to kick the ball over 30 yards. However, if you feel discouraged about the results you should not let that affect you. Instead, keep your focus and practice on because soon or later you will get it right. Good Luck /Kevin
