trials

by daniel
(london)

Hi. I've been learning off your site for like 5 months now and it’s helped a lot and I want to go trials, but which country is the best place to start off professional. I’m 15, should I try America, it has less players, easier chance to get accepted, or England, much harder to get accepted but once accepted my place is cemented. What do you think?

THE ANSWER

Hello, generally, you should start in a less competitive league and then work your way up. You are right about that England is more competitive than U.S but I will try several leagues and clubs and see how it goes. However, you should know that becoming a professional is not just about playing well; you need to be away from your home, live alone and take care of everything by yourself.

I don’t know what position you are playing at but I am convinced that you would benefit (no matter where you place on the field is) from my soccer positions book that reveals how to succeed on any soccer position. I hope that you will make it to the professional soccer and I wish you all the best.
