Use The Wall Pass as Often You Can

by Jimmy
(New York)

We all love to dribble our opponents but in soccer you need to play smart. One thing that I’ve recently learned is to use the wall pass. Before I started to use the wall pass I always tried to get past my opponents by dribbling them. However, after a while, they learned my way of dribbling and suddenly I was out of idea.

So, one day the coach told me that I should focus more on using the wall pass. I didn’t thought actually that it will make any difference to my game but I was obviously wrong. After performing it few times I realized that wall pass is great for beating your opponents without needing to dribble them.

To help you use the wall pass more efficiently you should try to see your teammates as walls. You are passing the ball, taking another position and the ball comes back to you again. How brilliant, don’t you admit? I’ve only played soccer for 1 year and I have a lot more to learn, but I just want to share my experience about the wall pass and tell you how efficient it can be.
