Tips For Better Soccer Fitness

If you have recently started to play soccer and you are between 8-12 years old you should focus little more on improving your running skills. This is important as in soccer you only have the ball about 2 minutes per game. The rest is all about running, defense, covering up for your teammates and so on.

Food is also important and without it you will not be able to run any far. You can see food as the fuel of your body. When you have a lot of fuel you will be able to cover a lot of yards.

However, with little fuel you will not come any far. Make sure to eat a lot of carbohydrates, proteins and omega 3 fats. Do not eat snacks, chocolate and candy every day, especially not before and after your practice and games.

Another thing that you should know about food is that you should avoid food with a lot of oil. The reason is that oil will slow down your lungs and you will not be able to breathe enough air while running. This will impact negatively on your performance and you will not be able to perform maximum. Good luck with your soccer career. /Jamal
